ITIS is the largest shopping centre in Finland. With hundreds of shops, multiple entrances, and long connecting corridors, clear signage is not just helpful. It’s essential.
I designed the complete wayfinding system for ITIS. This includes all main information signs, opening hour markings on glass doors, and the icons and directional visuals used throughout the building.
The focus was on clarity and flow. Every element had to be readable at a glance, in motion and under different lighting conditions. The tone is calm and functional. Not shouting for attention, but guiding it.
The result is a consistent visual system that supports movement across a complex space. From restrooms to exits, from elevators to public transport, the signage now speaks one language. Designed to serve both structure and pace.
A visual identity built for how people move.
